FAQ

Instead of taking a typical semester of school in America this year, why not study at a high school abroad for a semester in one of Joyedu's study abroad programs?

You'll be gone for only one semester. The time is insignificant compared to the value of you experience. As the world becomes increasingly connected through advanced telecommunications, more convenient travel, business and economy, industry and diplomacy, international exposure is a valuable asset. In only one semester your world view will be substantially widened through a study abroad experience!

To qualify, you must be no younger than 15 nor older than 18 years of age upon departure and be a student in good standing with a C+ or better academic average. Additionally, you must have studied previously the language of your host country (no previous language study required for Holland). With a good base, you'll be talking comfortably with your host family in their language after only a few weeks.

We offer 3 and 4 week homestay programs during the summer and throughout the year. Summer Programs allow you to spend the better part of your summer abroad learning about another culture, immersing yourself in the language of your host country, making new friends and taking part in the daily life of your host family. Summer formal language instruction and organized activities are available. Joyedu is pleased to customize your program to fit your requirements.
To qualify, you must be 13-18 years of age with average grades and excellent character references.
