This program includes:

1. 4-weeks of Internship Preparation

a. 20 lessons per week of English lessons

i. Reading & Writing
ii. Speaking & Listening

b. 8 lessons per week of Launching a Career in North America

i. CV or Resume and Cover Letter Development
ii. Interview Skills
iii. US or Canadian Business Culture and Practices

2. Placement with a host company in one of the following fields

a. Business Administration

b. Sales & Marketing

c. Hospitality & Tourism

d. Information Technology

e. Advertising & Public Relations

f. Not-for-Profit Organizations

3. Internship between 8 and 12 weeks, 20 to 40 hours per week

4. Certificate of Completion

Internship Preparation and Internship Schedule

Internship Preparation (4 weeks): During the four weeks of the internship preparation course “Launching a Career in North America”

The Professional Internship (8-12 weeks): The student’s schedule during his or her internship will vary, but the total amount of time spent at the host company will be between 20 and 40 hours per week. The exact schedule will be determined by the needs of the host company.

Admission Requirements

All students participating in this program must meet the following requirements:

1. Achieve a level of Low Advanced on the Placement Test

2. Have work experience or education in the career field indicated on their application

3. Have the maturity and independence to successfully participate in the program

4. Complete the Internship Program Application Form
